Resources for Diverse Populations

At Pitt we strive to create a climate that reinforces the value of diversity and inclusion as essential to advancing our mission.  One way that we do this is by providing resources, supports, and opportunities for all members of our community.

We are constantly adding to this page, and the resources available throughout the University.  If you would like to suggest additions to this page, please contact ODI at 412-648-7860.

Veterans Resources

In honor of Veterans Day 2016, the University of Pittsburgh would like to thank all of our Veterans for their bravery and sacrifice for our country. We honor all who have served and who are serving and this is a time to remember and celebrate the brave men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, for our country.

Please take a few minutes to watch this video of some of Pitt’s Veteran leaders sharing their thoughts about service, the impact it had on their lives and the reasons why they love working with veterans. We are thankful for their service and value them as an important part of the Pitt community!  View the video: “Saluting our Veterans”.

Lactation Rooms

The University values and encourages nursing mothers in the employment and education environment.  Review the list of lactation rooms on the Oakland campus.
