Staff members are available to provide brief overviews of the Title IX Office during orientation programming.  Hosting Title IX at your orientation helps to ensure that all incoming students understand Pitt's commitment to a harassment free environment.   Due to COVID-19 concerns, all trainings can be moved to virtual platforms if needed

General Title IX Overview for Orientations (Graduate Students)

This training is designed to promote a common and consistent understanding and application of the University of Pittsburgh policies, standards, and processes with regard to Title IX. The training facilitator will address required timeliness all potential responders must adhere to upon becoming aware of sexual violence, sexual harassment, relationship violence, stalking and discrimination. This workshop can be scheduled for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes.  Note: the 15 minute trainings only introduce the Title IX Office and are only recommended when there are strict time constraints.  

Departments are asked to provide media for these trainings: computer and screen.  

Tabling Engagement

A member of the Title IX staff is available to table at resource fairs and orientations.  Please fill out the orientation training form to request Title IX tabling.
