The University’s strategic plan, The Plan for Pitt, includes the goal to promote Diversity and Inclusion. This goal aspires Pitt to be a University community that embodies diversity and inclusion as core values that enrich learning, scholarship, and the communities we serve.
The ODI consistently partners with departments, schools, and units across the University, to capture consistent framework to identify, quantify and report the initiatives they have undertaken to foster diversity, engagement and inclusion on campus. These initiatives have afforded the University to be recognized internally and externally for its efforts in creating a campus environment where individual feels inclusive and valued, allowing faculty, staff, and students to achieve and contribute to their fullest potential.
