The University’s strategic plan, the Plan for Pitt, includes as a strategic objective the creation of an inclusive and equitable campus environment—one that welcomes, values and embraces the diverse perspectives of every member of our community.
OEDI partners with departments, schools, and units across the University, to identify, quantify, and report the initiatives they have undertaken to foster diversity, engagement and inclusion on campus. These collective, university-wide initiatives have resulted in recognition for the University and its units, both internally and externally, for their efforts in creating a campus environment where individuals feels included, valued, and able reach their fullest potential.
