Through this all-day installation, students will have the opportunity to engage within several different environments conveyed through numerous reenacted rooms. The simulation provides a comprehensive habitat centered around circumstances presented in everyday life. Each room is designed to focus on historically oppressed groups, cultures, or social justice concerns named by students. During the tour, participants are placed into scenarios and participate in activities that reflect the daily life of oppressed populations.
Following each exhibit, groups will have the opportunity to openly discuss what they encountered. It is highly encouraged to speak your mind and express the emotions experienced throughout the simulation. Presented by Residence Life.
